Meet Nathan – Coach & Founder of Symmetry Endurance Coaching

Nathan is the heart and mind behind Symmetry Endurance Coaching. His sporting journey began at a young age—he was swimming before he could walk. That early start led to a successful competitive swimming career throughout his school years. Alongside swimming, Nathan developed a strong passion for running, often competing in cross country events with athletes five years his senior.

In 2002, Nathan became a swimming teacher at a local leisure centre. It was there that his passion for coaching was truly ignited. Since then, he has shared his extensive experience and knowledge to support athletes in both triathlon and running disciplines.

With over 20 years of personal training and racing experience, Nathan has competed in a wide range of endurance sports. These include everything from sprint triathlons to multiple Ironman races, long-distance sea swimming, duathlons, swim-run events, marathons, sea rowing, and more—across the UK and Europe.
